Abigail Spencer
Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actor. She is best known for her roles in the movies The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You as well as for her roles on the television seriesAngela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. The actress is currently starring as Amantha Holden on her role on the Sundance Channel show, a drama called Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actress and film director who is also a TV producer. The roles she played in the drama show Rectify and the sci-fi show Timeless have made her an international star. She is a native of Gulf Breeze in Florida. She was first introduced to acting in the soap opera All My Children. In recognition of her performance she received the Soap Opera Digest Award as the most outstanding female newcomer. Her roles were mostly as guest actors during a number of years on television series. The role she played as the Dr. Erin Jameson on the show Hawthorne was praised by the audience. Her dazzling looks, combined with her amazing acting skills helped to slowly grow a fanbase. At the age twenty she made her debut in the movie Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War as and Chasing Mavericks are the other movies where she starred. The actress was nominated in the Madrid International Film Festival Award for her part in the movie Beautiful Now'. The film starred her as Lucy Preston the history professor in Timeless. Spencer was praised from critics about her performance in the sci-fi television program Timeless. The actress was also nominated for an award called the Teen Choice Award.
